- Love Is Not Chased,It is Found
Love is not a hunt. Society screams that you must search, chase, and rush. But God's design whispers a different truth: I t is not the woman who seeks the man...it is the man who must find her. When God created Adam, He saw that it was not good for him to be alone Genesis 2:18 " And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him." But He did not say,"Go and find Eve." No, God put Adam into deep sleep, took his rib, and formed the woman. Eve was created for Adam, not Adam for Eve. She was his missing piece, his divine complement. Now, this does not mean that it must always be the man who takes the first step. God works in mysterious ways, and he can bring two people together in different ways, at the same time, through unexpected circumstances, or in ways beyond human understanding. The key is to trust His timing and let love unfold according to His plan, not the world's expectations. For Women: You are the Answer, Not the Pursuer So, young lady, stop running after what is not yours to chase. I did it many times and I regret it, because I wanted it to be what I wanted and to achieve what I wanted and not what God wanted for me. You are not a hunter; you are an answer. You are the blessing that a man of God will find when the time is right. Proverbs makes it clear: Proverbs 18;22 " Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, And obtaineth favour of the LORD." If God created you with a purpose, why settle for someone who is not aligned with it? Waiting on God is not passive: it is a season of preparation. Focus on growing, strengthening your identity in Christ, and developing the character that reflects His love. When you walk in your purpose, love will find you effortlessly, however God intends it to happen. For Men: Do not Search Recklessly Adam received Eve when he was in communion with God, when he was fulfilling his purpose. Before seeking a partner, ask yourself: Am I spiritually grounded? Do I know who I am in God before sharing my life with someone else? Am I willing to love as Christ loved the Church? Ephesians sets a high Standard: Ephesians 5;25 "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and give himself for it." Love is not selfish, impulsive, or based on fleeting emotions. It is a commitment, a sacrifice, a reflection of God's Love. Advice For my Young People The world tells you that "time is running out," that if you don't have someone, something is wrong with you. But God says something different: Ecclesiastes 3:1 "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven." Listen, do not rush what God is perfecting. The right relationship will not come from anxiety or social pressure but from divine timing. While you wait, pray, grow, heal, and strengthen your faith. What comes from God does not bring confusion or suffering but peace. 1 Corinthians 14;33 "For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints." A Clarification This reflection is not meant to create misunderstandings or rigid rules about relationships. God is sovereign, and He works in different ways for different people. Sometimes, a man takes the first step; other times, God orchestrates things so both find each other simultaneously. What truly matters is not who initiates, but that the relationship is built on God's foundation, timing, and purpose. Love is a divine encounter, not a game for the desperate. Let God do the work. Whether He brings you together in a way you expect or in a way that surprises you, trust that His plan is always perfect. Whispers of Light - Reflections that Illuminate the Soul Haeya Talks
